Reptiles on the Road is owned and operated by reptile enthusiast and specialist, Jacqui Beer (that's me!). With over 10 years experience working with, breeding, and rescuing reptiles and amphibians, as well as some exotic mammals and invertebrates, I am fully trained in handling and caring for these type of animals in a manner that is safe for both animal and human. I have owned all different species of snakes, lizards, turtles, and tortoises for many years and have grown a deep connection with my cold-blooded friends. Reptiles on the Road is my way of spreading the message to all age groups that reptiles are not the nasty creatures that  they are portrayed by movies and media. In my opinion, snakes as just as good of a pet as a cat or a dog!

As well as being an expert on animals, I am currently enrolled in the Biology program at Adelphi University and hope to one day open my own interactive zoo. Though I love visiting people's houses, the animals are always more calm in their own environment. But for now, I will bring my knowledge and services to you. The first step in conservation is education, and I will always firmly believe that!
