Reptiles on the Road coins the slogan of "The Zoo That Comes To YOU" because that is exactly what it is! An assistant and I bring my personal pets that are cared for and interact with humans on a daily basis to your school, home, or any other event location in order to teach your children about the animals I have worked with and grown to love for so many years. Depending on the size of the audience and what age group I will be presenting to, I will bring anywhere from 5 to 6 animals for the show*! No two parties are the same! Reptiles on the Road creates specially designed presentations made to suit the children in your group. Most of the time, I will bring animals that I feel are appropriate for your group, but you are always welcome to make special requests. I always promise to do my best to fill every possible request you may have!

Both children and adults will be allowed to interact with many of the animals I bring to the show, with the exception of frogs and turtles due to possible disease transfer.Over time, I have watched even the most hesitant people warm up to the warm, loving faces of my animals! Birthday parties come with a free surprise after the show: the children will get to hold one of the animals and be photographed if parents have cameras! I do offer photo packages on the side in case you want Reptiles on the Road to take the pictures for you, but this comes with a small fee.

Through years or practice, I am fully trained to restrain my animals, and so I ensure the safety of everyone during the interactive process. If a child is nervous, they are not forced to interact with any animal. A calm and happy environment for everyone (including the animals)  participating in the program is ideal, so I do not want to see anyone get upset over an animal. Children often find that being up close and personal with the animals give them a better understanding of the animal itself.

Antibacterial wipes are given out before and after the show. This is an important measure for me because not only do I want the children to not pick up any germs, but I also want my animals to leave the show happy and healthy as well. When available, goodie bags are also given out at parties. Pictures may be taken, but if you do not want us taking pictures for the website, you may opt out on the contract.

To book a show, it is important to contact me at least 2 weeks in advance. A deposit for any show  of 1/3 the price of the show is due a week before the show date. This deposit ensures that if I get there and no one is there, I was paid to pack up the animals and drive to the location.
